Join us weekly on Wednesday’s for a FREE family friendly day at Commons Beach! Starting with Waterfront Wednesday, and ending with a movie beachside… there’s fun options for the full family!
Vendors for Waterfront Wednesdays go from 12(noon) until 8pm, and make sure to bring your warm clothes to stay for the Movie! (movies start at dark…the alpenglow show is free)

Tahoe Joy Festival:
The Tahoe Joy Festival is a free family-friendly event showcasing regional bands, youth performers, local artists, makers, and non-profit organizations as well as food trucks and local breweries with wine selections.
The Tahoe Joy Festival will be the culmination of the Tahoe City Summer Solstice Festival and kick off a summer of music at Commons Beach.

Waterfront Wednesdays
& Tahoe City Lakeside Movie Series
Start your summer Wednesdays with the best in family friendly summer fun at Commons Beach, in Tahoe City, CA. Every Wednesday from late June - Mid August, Wednesdays light up with fun from noon till 11pm weekly.
Waterfront Wednesday starts at Noon weekly (skipping July 4th week), with vendors, shaved ice, artisans, and non-profits sharing their knowledle, skills, arts and crafts and/or just plain having fun with you!
As the sunny part of the day begins to fade, the atmosphere changes to warm clothes, blankets, and low-back chairs for the Tahoe City Lakeside Movie Series to start! This has been a Tahoe City staple for 20+ years, so don’t forget to mark your calendars every summer so you can enjoy a beautiful night under the stars!

Come enjoy the beach and playground & games and crafts early! Then stay for the beautiful night under the stars, while you watch a great movie each week!

Music will be provided each week pre-movie by the Tahoe Truckee School of Music Musicians.

A single day Tahoe City music festival at Tahoe City
Community Center Field venue. with regional bands, local
vendors and food trucks benefitting Tahoe Truckee School
of Music and TCDA. This will be an eco-friendly community-
